We have thrilling news about the Nikon Zf! Nikon has rolled out firmware version 2.00, marking the first significant update for the Zf since its debut. This new version brings enhancements inspired by the Nikon Z9 flagship camera and the latest full-frame mirrorless model, the Z6 III.
With the introduction of firmware version 2.00, the Nikon Zf now supports Nikon Imaging Cloud. This feature allows automatic image transfers to third-party cloud storage services, automatic camera firmware updates, and access to a diverse array of creative Imaging Recipes. Additionally, the Zf includes a specialized [Birds] subject-detection option, improving detection and tracking capabilities to better support bird photography. The Hi-Res Zoom function is also now available, along with expanded functionalities for better usability with manual-focus lenses. These improvements make using manual-focus lenses, including classic models, more enjoyable. Users can now quickly exit the magnified display by half-pressing the shutter-release button and record aperture values during shooting.
