About George Webber:
George Webber’s photographs spring from his affection for the people and culture of the Canadian West.
His books include: Borrowed Time, Saskatchewan Book, Alberta Book, Badlands, Prairie Gothic, In this Place, Last Call, People of The Blood, A World Within and Requiem.
George’s photographs are included in many Canadian and international museum collections.
He’s been photographing life on the streets of Calgary for nearly 50 years.
About Greg Gerla:
Greg Gerla (G1) is a commercial and fine art photographer. His work evokes a strong mood with attention to craft and style. He’s represented by several stock agencies and his work has been published world-wide. Greg has had several exhibitions of his fine art work locally, and abroad.
He was an instructor at The Alberta University of the Arts from 2004-2021, teaching in the Photography Department, Faculty of Visual Communications. Greg has served on the National Board of CAPIC (Canadian Association of Professional Image Creators) from 2002-2016.
He served as president of the Prairie Chapter of CAPIC from 2004-2007. Greg was also a member of the board for the Exposure Photography Festival from 2010-2019.
Greg gets around. He has photographed his journeys from Moscow to Los Angeles to Cuba to Hungary. He’s continually inspired by what’s outside his door, or across the continent.
About Greg Fulmes:
Greg Fulmes (G2) has spent the last three decades making images and teaching photography. Photography has taken him to four continents with more in his plans. His love of the people of the “third world” has meant many trips to Mexico, El Salvador and Guatemala. The people draw him back, the need to help them re-claim their way of life from the influence of multi-national corporations a burning desire.
His work tends to be either stark black and white or highly saturated colour imagery. Although people are his passion, nothing is off-limits from his lens….he just loves making pictures. Whatever catches his eye is a potential image.
He has photographed Grey Cups, CEOs and the homeless. Food, wine, architechture. Rock stars, Hollywood actors and buskers and almost everything else.
Whatever the subject, creativity…making an image unlike any other…is the key both to
success and happiness.
He is represented by a stock agency and a pair of assignment services.
